Pastor Donald R. Parish Jr.

Faithful Servant | Community Leader | Mentor

Pastor Donald R. Parish Jr. is a devoted servant of God, a champion for social justice, and a dedicated mentor who has spent his life empowering communities and uplifting young people. As the spiritual leader of True Lee Missionary Baptist Church, he carries out his calling with passion, authenticity, and a deep commitment to transforming lives through faith, service, and education.

Pastor Parish is known for his unwavering belief in the potential of every individual. His leadership extends beyond the pulpit—he is a visionary who sees not only the challenges of today but the boundless possibilities of tomorrow. Through his humility, transparency, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life, he has built meaningful relationships that inspire collective action for positive change.

A Heart for Youth & Community

With a strong passion for youth development, Pastor Parish has worked extensively with Dallas ISD schools, public housing communities, and neighborhood organizations to provide mentorship and opportunities to young people. Since 2000, he has personally led college tours, exposing hundreds of students to higher education opportunities at institutions such as The University of Texas at Austin, Prairie View A&M University, and Baylor University. He firmly believes that exposure unlocks potential, and he continues to open doors for the next generation.

One of his most impactful initiatives, the “Breakfast with Dads” event at Billy Earl Dade Middle School, gained national attention when nearly 600 men from the community stepped up to mentor young boys in need of father figures. The success of this event went viral and inspired similar movements across the country.
